How does it work?

Getting the laundry done with Soapbox is as easy! Just follow these steps: #1) Confirm we serve your address by entering it in the search box, on the first page of this website #2) Sign up for service and place an order online or via our mobile app #3) Give your dirty laundry to our driver #4) Receive your clean & folded laundry That's it!

How long until I get my clean laundry delivered?

We offer same day / next day service for $1.75 per lb. Need to get your delivered sooner? We can approve special requests... just ask!

What forms of payment do you accept?

For residential orders, we accept credit/debit cards. For commercial orders, we can accept checks or credit/debit cards.

Is there an order minimum?

There's a 10 lbs minimum. For example, if you send 8 lbs, we'll charge your $17.50 (10 lbs * $17.50).

Do I need to use special bags for Soapbox Laundry?

Not at all! We recommend using one of our Soapbox Laundry reusable bags. You may also decide to use your own laundry baskets or trash bag. We will return reusable bags/ hampers with each laundry order.

Do I need to be home when my laundry is picked up?

You can choose to leave your laundry in a secure location such as your front or back porch. Please note that laundry left out unattended is at your own risk.

How much does wash & fold cost?

We charge a simple flat price of $1.75 per pound. There's a 10 lbs minimum. For example, if you send 8 lbs, we'll charge your $17.50 (10 lbs * $17.50).

When you make an order, you'll choose a convenient day & 1-hour time slot for pick-up & delivery.

How do I pay for service?

Your credit card is automatically charged for service prior to delivery of your clean laundry.

Do you serve businesses too?

Yes! We can meet the needs of your business. Please give us a call to learn more about our commercial laundry service 203-870-1372.

When should I place my order?

When you place an order, you select a pickup and dropoff time. You can place an order up to three (3) hours before the pickup time. We recommend placing your order the night before, so you have time to bag the laundry and have it ready for pickup.

How can I add special order instructions?

Have a special request? When you start an order on our website you can type in your special request.

Examples of special requests:
special detergents like hypoallergenic or unscented
laundry instructions like washing in hot or cold water
no dryer sheets
air dry certain items
hang certain clothing items

How much does laundry service cost?

Each laundry plan is priced based on your specific needs. We look at the laundry type, the amount, the frequency of pickups and how quickly you need your laundry delivered. With these four factors our Sales Team will determine your price and send you a quote within 24 hours.

Is there a contract I need to sign?

We'll never lock you into a contract; you are free to stop, start or pause service at any time.

What types of laundry do you clean?

We take a variety of items; from lab coats to comforters, even dog beds! Find out if we are able to clean your laundry by contacting us at 203-870-1372 or through our live chat.

My laundry amount will vary each time, is that a problem?

You are free to adjust the laundry amount you give us on each order. Whether you have a little laundry or a lot, we're flexible to your needs.

Do you require rental of laundry?

No, we do not require you to rent the laundry from us. If you own it, we can wash it! Our focus is entirely on the cleaning process.

How do I sign up?

You can set up an account by clicking the SIGN UP button located at the top right of this page.

Can you pick up at multiple locations?

We can pick up at multiple locations. There is a 10 lb order minimum applied to each stop.

How do I get a quote?

You can request a quote a number of ways; through our quote form on the Commercial page, by phone at 1-203-870-1372 or through our live chat.

What is the turnaround time?

You can choose either same-day, next-day or two-days delivery.

Is there a pickup/delivery fee?

Pickup and delivery is included with our service at no additional charge to you.

What products do you use?

The products used during the cleaning/ drying/ ironing process will depend on the type of laundry given and your preferences. We offer both fragranced and hypoallergenic (dye-free, perfume-free) options. If you have a specific product/brand you'd like us to use, just let us know.

Is our laundry washed with anyone else's?

Each order is processed separately. We never wash, dry or fold orders together.

Can I use service just one time?

Yes! You can use us one time or ongoing.

Yes! We serve Airbnbs throughout Fairfield County. Contact us at 203-355-2288 for pricing. Same-day delivery with pickups Sunday - Saturday.
